Last Sunday 30th of May, we had an awesome Sunday Celebration in our church.
In Nicaragua the Day of the Mothers is every May 30th. This year the May 30th fall in Sunday -every 6 years happens-. So we decided to take advantage of this and Celebrate the Day of the Mothers in the Church. We had a good attending to the church more than one hundred people came. All the activities : the arrangement of the local , the food for the Lunch time,
The artistic participation (dancing, poetry, Singers, Hosting, etc), and Everything were driven by Young People! Yes! They did everything, and they got the Joy of serve the Lord and His People.

Arms of Love kids and girls had a good quote of participation for show their gifts and talents, they did almost 80 percent of the artistic agenda. The girls danced two native Nicaraguan Folklore songs with native dressing and beautiful movements, full of joy and sane pride, Also the young girls and the kids respectively made two nice choreographies of vineyard songs like
"In the Secret"  and "Open my Eyes Oh Christ". I really like how these children and teenagers feel La Viņa  as their home church, and have room for grow and show their talents. We feel these kids an girls as our daughters and sons. And We love them. They feel that They are part of something big, they belong a Community of Faith, a real VCF!

The host of the Event was a young girl newcomer, and the young people who helped to get the job done also are new in the Youth Group, almost 30 percent of the young people are new, This is very good for the church. They are enthusiastic and ready to serve the Lord in other assignment. We are working in two aspects:  Having room to involve the Young people in the Church Ministry, and also we are disciplining a youth small group that are the potential Youth Leaders. Every Tuesday at night Javier and I have a Discipleship Small Group meeting with this Select young people, they are four young men and one girl. We are forming a Team, we have some experience about :) ! And it seems a real change in their lives! I love it! The
Lord is doing something new in them.

At the end of the Celebration we had a Picnic-Lunch for everybody in the backyard of the Center. It was beautiful to see all the church eating and talking as a big Family seated in the Yard -We moved our plastic chairs out of the Auditorium. We had fellowship and the mothers were very happy and children too. It was Great to see one hundred people sharing one
another under a cloudy sky with fresh winds between small trees planted around the yard.

Blessings!
