Update from Nicaragua from Heidi Hohn

I haven’t had time to get on the internet until today, yesterday lunch went too long. Today we are in Grenada for lunch and stuff. This morning we were at a community basketball court and we are painting their cement seats, then we are going back later to put on another coat and the boys are playing basketball with a bunch of guys from the neighborhood this evening. The games are fun, we did it in Managua already and we drew a big croud with drinks and basketball and music. I am having such a good time! I really miss home and am getting a bit fed up with the bugs, but I am enjoying myself. God is doing awesome things down here and I am excited to tell you everything we have been doing, but I don’t really want to type it all now. :)
I like Nicaragua a lot. The rest of the trip will go quick I bet, and I am really excited for church tomorrow. After church we get to go to pizza with the youth from La Vina and some time the beach with them too. That should be a lot of fun.

This trip is amazing. at first… everything seems a little unorganized…however those times seem to be the times that christ works in. WE have been building relationships all around nicaragua with people who want a church to be part of. They also want, and need prayer because their lives are very difficult. It is hard for me to communicate how awesome this trip is and to explain the miricals that we have seen. Just yesterday 30 people accepted christ as their savyor after we showed the passion of the christ in the back of a smelly, dark, hot store. For some reason these people have not been shown love by others. they do not have a stable goverment that cares for the poor, they do not have money of their own, and they for sure do not have americans comming to do nothing but help them and love them…… well, they didn{t until we came!!! everywhere we go we there is a sense of community and a power of the spirit leading us. please continue to pray for this country and for our safe return home.

WILLLIAM AND HEIDI , I agree with You. Yes Every Activity look like a Potential Disaster at the begining, but it seems like the LORD transformed every situation in a Victory for His Kingdom of Light, right here in Nicaragua!

We -La ViƱa Guys- Had Learned A Lot from You and from t
